Catalog Update 2024: Transition to LED Lighting

HEINE has released new LED light sources for a wide range of instruments. Previously, only xenon-halogen XHL lamps could be replaced, and their short service life made replacement a constant concern.

The new LED^HQ bulbs are capable of running for 100,000 hours, which equals almost 12 years of continuous 24/7 operation without holidays or weekends. At the same time, the new LED^HQ modules are designed so that they can be easily and simply installed in place of the old XHL lamps!

Constant worries about lamp replacement are now a thing of the past. The virtually unlimited service life of LED^HQ modules solves this problem once and for all.

Instruments that have been converted to the new LED^HQ lighting for 2.5 V battery handles and 3.5 V rechargeable handles:

• Otoscope: BETA 400 F.O., BETA 200 F.O., and K180.
• Ophthalmoscope: BETA 200S and BETA 200.
• Retinoscope: BETA 200.
• Veterinary instruments: Slit Illumination Head G100 and Veterinary Otoscope BETA 200 VET.

Xenon-halogen bulbs for these HEINE instruments are officially no longer manufactured or sold.
