HEINE OMEGA 500 with video camera - your key to high-quality diagnostics

The HEINE OMEGA 500 with video camera is a professional instrument for ophthalmoscopy, designed for binocular examination of the fundus. It is used by ophthalmologists and retinologists to diagnose various pathologies of the retina, vitreous body, and optic nerve.

The brightest fundus image with natural color rendering

Thanks to unique LEDHQ technology, the HEINE OMEGA 500 ophthalmoscope provides bright and sharp images with natural color rendering. This allows physicians to see the finest details of the fundus without distortions.

Enhanced color rendering makes the image as close to reality as possible, helping to more accurately interpret changes in the retina and optic nerve.

The best 3D image thanks to stereoscopic adjustment technology

The OMEGA 500 is equipped with a stereoscopic adjustment system that provides high-quality three-dimensional fundus imaging. This technology allows clear and volumetric images even with narrow pupils, widely used in examinations of newborns and premature infants.

High-resolution digital fundus imaging

The 5-megapixel camera enables high-resolution video and photo capture. Images are free of noise thanks to the camera’s enhanced light sensitivity.

The HEINE OMEGA 500 with video camera allows the physician to share observations with a wider audience, explain diagnoses to patients, and record material for presentations and medical records.

The ophthalmoscope easily connects via USB to any laptop or computer and comes with software for recording video and images. No additional setup is required.

Easy and effective disinfection with smoothSURFACE technology

The construction of the OMEGA 500 ophthalmoscope was developed with hygiene standards in mind: smoothSURFACE technology eliminates holes and hard-to-reach areas where contamination could accumulate, while the integrated electronics and smooth surfaces make disinfection easy.

Perfect comfort and flawless precision

The HEINE OMEGA 500 provides maximum freedom of movement thanks to synchronized convergence and parallax adjustment. For easier interaction with patients, the ophthalmoscope is equipped with a flip-up optical system. It also has an adjustable headband width mechanism, allowing the headband to be fitted comfortably to the physician’s head.

Eyepieces for optimal viewing adjustment

The OMEGA 500 comes with pre-installed +2D eyepieces, but they can be replaced with neutral 0D lenses, which are included in the set.

Red-free, yellow, and cobalt blue filters

  • The red-free filter enhances the contrast of retinal vessels.
  • The yellow filter reduces glare and decreases eye strain.
  • The cobalt blue filter is used for diagnosing corneal pathologies when fluorescein is applied.

Additional options for your convenience

The HEINE OMEGA 500 offers many unique additional options, including a teaching mirror and ophthalmoscopic lenses. These help not only with diagnostics but also with training new specialists, making the learning process more visual. You can also use fundus charts to visualize results and improve patient understanding.

Portability for a dynamic workflow

Don’t let space limitations slow you down! The HEINE OMEGA 500 is equipped with a built-in mPack UNPLUGGED battery, providing up to 7 hours of operation on LEDHQ and 2 hours on XHL. This allows flawless examinations anywhere - in the clinic, during field visits, or in hospital settings. The EN 50 wall transformer provides reliable and stable power when needed.

HEINE OMEGA 500 is not just an instrument - it is a transformation in the approach to diagnosing ophthalmic diseases.
