HEINE SIGMA 250 is a compact indirect ophthalmoscope with spectacle mounting and advanced LED^HQ illumination. It is designed for fundus examination at any pupil size and provides precise image adjustment thanks to separate parallax and convergence controls.

Versatility for pupils of any size

Thanks to adjustable illumination and optics, the ophthalmoscope delivers a clear stereoscopic image even with a pupil diameter of just 2 mm. This makes it ideal for patients of all ages and for examining the peripheral retina.

Minimal weight for maximum comfort

The device weighs only 110 g (without frame), making it incredibly light and comfortable to use. The low weight reduces head strain and allows long working sessions without discomfort.

HEINE SIGMA 250 runs on the compact mPack mini battery, which weighs only 95 g and measures 44×23×101 mm. It is 70% lighter and smaller than the previous model and supports USB charging. A fully charged battery provides up to 11 hours of continuous operation at maximum power. Please note that SIGMA 250 is compatible only with the mPack mini.

• Red-free filter -for enhanced vessel contrast

HEINE SIGMA 250 is equipped with a built-in red-free filter to improve image contrast. Optional blue and yellow filters can also be used for specific diagnostic tasks.

The device supports interpupillary distance adjustment in the range of 47-72 mm, making it comfortable for any user.

The optical system is mounted on a swivel bracket, allowing a wide and flexible view when examining different areas of the fundus.

Optional Clip-in frame for corrective lenses

For clinicians who use corrective lenses, an additional Clip-in frame is available to integrate the required lenses into the ophthalmoscope system.
