Reusable blades HEINE Classic+ Paed are specifically designed for intubation of newborns and young children. Neonatal intubation is an especially complex and responsible task. Often, the physician has only a few seconds to complete the procedure, since in cases of hypoxia - particularly in infants and small children - urgent and timely intervention is required.

Classic+ Paed blades represent the optimal combination of the straight Miller blade and the curved Macintosh blade. No other blade offers this design - and in situations where every second counts, this can mean the difference between life and death.

Unique geometry - the combination of straight and curved design facilitates access to pediatric airways, taking their anatomical specifics into account.
High-quality illumination with F.O. (Fiber Optic) technology. Each blade integrates a HiLite fiber optic bundle, 4.3 mm in diameter, containing up to 6500 individual microfibers, ensuring bright, even, white light with excellent color rendering.
Made of high-quality stainless steel with additional special coatings that provide resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. The blade’s one-piece design, without connecting screws, allows it to withstand up to 4000 autoclaving cycles at 134°C.

Fiber optic bundle protection and sealing - no liquid can penetrate the blade during intubation or sterilization, as the fibers are both bonded and compressed. Each blade is pressure-tested at 3 bar for leak-tightness.
