Sets with direct ophthalmoscopes

A HEINE diagnostic set with a direct ophthalmoscope combines the instrument head, the matching power handle and the case, so the practice receives a complete examination unit instead of separate components. Every set here is built around a direct ophthalmoscope for examination of the fundus, and many kits add a fibre optic (F.O.) otoscope in the same case.

What the sets contain

• HEINE BETA 200 and BETA 200S sets — direct LED ophthalmoscope in 2.5 V or 3.5 V versions, on its own or combined with a BETA 200 Retinoscope LED.
• HEINE K 180 sets — direct LED ophthalmoscope with Aperture Wheel 1 or 2, in a soft case or, in the otoscope combinations, in a hard case.
• HEINE mini 3000 sets — the pocket line with a mini 3000 battery or rechargeable handle, also as a set with a mini 3000 F.O. LED Otoscope and specula.
• HEINE BETA X set — the newest ophthalmoscope with AOS+ optics, LED^HQ illumination and focusCONTROL, delivered with the E4-USBC power source and a carrying case.
• HEINE EN 200 Diagnostic Center — units combining a BETA 200, BETA 400 or K 180 F.O. LED Otoscope with a direct LED ophthalmoscope, with specula and, in some versions, a GAMMA XXL LF-WB Sphygmomanometer.

How to choose the right diagnostic set

• Power supply — 2.5 V battery handles (BETA, mini 3000), or 3.5 V rechargeable handles: BETA 4 USB charged by USB, BETA 4 NT with the NT 4 Desktop Charger.
• Scope of the kit — ophthalmoscope only, ophthalmoscope plus retinoscope, or ophthalmoscope plus F.O. otoscope; two-handle versions keep both instruments ready at once.
• Case type — a hard case for transport, a soft case for a compact set, or an EN 200 Diagnostic Center when the instruments stay in the examination room.
